Well, this is a bit of an adventure, starting my own blog! It's 5.14 on Saturday morning and what an amazing sky - I really like this time of day. We're so lucky down here in South East London not to have had the kind of weather that's afflicted other parts of the UK these past few days.
We (me and my husband Derrie and our two cats Harriet and Nicholas) should be moving house soon, to Tonbridge in Kent. It's taken so long but all being well we'll exchange next week and move the first week of July. We can't wait. We've been in our present house too long really and don't like the area very much - our neighbour opposite virtually, well, not virtually really because it is his business, runs a car maintenance operation from outside his house, and the lad next door to him is also into cars big time. He's into stock car racing so often has the stock car on a trailer outside his house. And the mud it leaves on the road...I sound like a real moaner but we are in a very small cul de sac. Anyway, we'll soon be gone (hopefully!) and we are so excited. The house in Tonbridge is lovely and in a pleasant, quiet, leafy road in the North of the town. We can walk into the town centre, where there's a river and a castle, in about twenty minutes, and it's only about ten minutes by car to some beautiful countryside and the kind of area where we like to walk. It'll be a different world. So, it's a good time to be embarking on a blog, with big changes happening in my life and lots to look forward to!
